About life in Singapore. How unique we are, and how unique we are not. How what the media says isn't always true, and how blogs tell the other side of the story. But mostly, its about me.

There's a part for everyone..

I just thought it will be good to share these links

http://ds.ecitizen.gov.sg/pa.html
http://ds.ecitizen.gov.sg/ds_agencies.html

It's for contacting the various agencies with your suggestions and stuff.

Eg, you may have info for ISD or some suggestions to MHA or the for enhancing security. Instead of writing to the papers where it might be dismissed, you can send your feedback directly to the respective units.

I hope this will help in making the country safer for everyone.

It's only rubbish..

At Raffles Place MRT Station

I had alerted station staff but was assured that its a rubbish bag that shops always leave outside for collection.

Shops should be discouraged from such practice as anyone with ill intention can easily slip in a bomb among the rubbish and it would escape detection as everyone will think it is a rubbish bag. Bombers can also place multiple bombs in bags outside several shops and possibly no one will suspect a thing.

This is espcially true in shopping centres or integrated transport-cum-shopping hubs.

I've informed SMRT as well as Ministry of Home Affairs on my concerns. I really hope the appropriate advisory can be quickly sent out to the management of these shops.

Daejanggeum

The only thing I missed while 'serving the nation'.
Let me rephrase that - Jewel in the Palace is the only thing worth watching on TV for a long while!

Maybe it reminds me of the 2 Korean girls I've liked -- Jung Kyun Woon and Kim Hyeon Jung

The first returned to Korea while the second left NYJC for SP. Maybe she's married now - we lost contact.

Back at work

Cheers!

Back at work after 25 days of ICT being a sea-soldier.
Felt really good to have good food instead of yucky packed lunch.

Another friend had it even better - he was lunching at Marché when I texted him.

Nevermind, I'd go indulge in Spanish cuisine this Sunday.

What does TT stand for?

Anthony said "Take Tips"
Edwin said "Take Take"
Charlies said "Tio Tiao"
Delon said "Tua Tan"

Someone from the forum suggested
tio tok aka kenna poison or kenna chop
tua tiao aka kenna big trouble (bad one usually)

Another one guessed
tio tua
andlater suggested Tao Tia - headache

Third guy said tu tio

My guess is "Tacky Taps"
